Duration: 3 hours online learning, 3 hours teaching time

CPR & AED stand for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillator respectively.

This CPR-AED Course provides the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen.

Its a one day course when done in class alone, course is for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home.

Our CPR and AED course gives you the luxury of completing course theory online instead of a class room and at your own pace and once you complete online part of the course, we will schedule your in class to complete your certification.

This course meet legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards, and include the latest CPR guidelines and training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Certificate in CPR-AED course offers training suitable for workplace and or general interest. Most of individuals have some form of CPR training which in emergency situation are proven beneficial and help saves live.

Completion

  1. Ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps.
  2. 100% attendance and participation.
  3. 75% min. passing grade on a written, closed book knowledge evaluation and adherence to the Fundamental Principles.

 

Certification

  • 3-year certification in CPR and AED

 

Re-certification

  • CPR & AED: 2 hours online learning and 2.5 hours teaching time
