Emergency First Aid CPR & AED

Emergency First Aid CPR and AED is a basic one-day course offering an overview of First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills when done in class alone, for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home

Learn for your knowledge or complete the requirement for most jobs. It also adds a skill to your resume.

Our Emergency First Aid course gives you the luxury of completing course online instead of a class room at your own pace and once you complete online part of our course, we will schedule your in class hands on training to complete your certification. It includes the latest First Aid and CPR guidelines. Meets OHS regulations for Basic First Aid and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

As a result it exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content, CPR and AED

 

COMPLETION

  • Successfully demonstrate skills and critical steps
  • Min. 75% mark for written knowledge evaluation
  • Attend and participate in 100% of the course

 

CERTIFICATION

  • 3 year certification in Emergency First Aid and CPR Level A or C

 

RE-CERTIFICATION

  • CPR C: 5 hours in-class OR 4 hours in-class + 4 hours - online learning

Includes opioid poisoning awareness information

Includes any other content required by specific legislation

A 60-minute Opioid Poisoning Awareness Workshop can be added to this course. In this workshop, participants will learn how they can help prevent death and disability by recognizing, accessing help, and providing care for a suspected opioid poisoning.

  • First Aid Student Kit includes:
    • 1 CPR Breathing barrier
    • 3 Triangular bandages (106 cm x 106 cm x 150 cm)
    • 2 Non-woven pads (10 cm x 10 cm)
    • 1 Pair of latex free gloves
    • 1 Roller gauze bandage (7.5 cm x 3.75 m)
