Emergency First Aid CPR and AED is a basic one-day course offering an overview of First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills when done in class alone, for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home

Our Emergency First Aid CPR and AED course gives you the luxury of completing course online instead of a class room at your own pace and once you complete online part of our course, we will schedule your in class hands on training to complete your certification.It includes the latest First Aid and CPR guidelines. Meets OHS regulations for Basic First Aid and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

As a result it exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content, CPR and AED.

Completion

Ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps; 100% attendance and participation; 75% min. passing grade on a written, closed book knowledge evaluation and adherence to the Fundamental Principles.

 

Certification

3-year certification in Emergency First Aid & CPR Level A and C

 

Re-certification

CPR C: 4 hours in-class + 4 hours online learning**

  3. The EMS system
  4. Check, Call, Care
  5. Airway emergencies
  6. Breathing and Circulation emergencies
  7. First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest
  8. Wound care

 

A 60-minute Opioid Poisoning Awareness Workshop can be added to this course. In this workshop, participants will learn how they can help prevent death and disability by recognizing, accessing help, and providing care for a suspected opioid poisoning.
